An allegorical adventure, a fantasy novel that mirrors our world.
In a post-apocalyptic world, alcohol-addicted fairies, vampires suffering from an identity crisis, failed gunslingers, gates to other worlds, and detectives with existential concerns clash. Fateful and, at times, comical, they chase the feeling of a dramatic finale. They gallop towards a single sacred moment of freedom and autonomy, guided by their unconscious.
Cities function as defective democracies. The Gray Areas are condemned to exploitation and decay. Dystopia oppresses the weak populations. A fairy dancing in a bar suffers from amnesia, as time away from her world erodes her memory. Searching for a city called Sterlin, she clashes with a man who calls himself a Priest and has a violent past. He will seek out the fairy to eliminate her. A disgraced bandit tries to restore his lost prestige. Perhaps the return of an old enemy is the opportune moment. Two vampire hunters, along with a woman, get lost on the big streets, pursued by a megalomaniac vampire. A boy playing the trumpet wants to escape his previous life and, in a coming-of-age journey, falls in love with an immortal woman. Mama Levanta, lady of Sterlin. Will he be able to free the city from its spells and connect with her world? A warrior-priestess realizes that an opponent is returning as the Priest grows stronger.
Everyone's lives connect through strange paths. All head towards Sterlin. The city of Levanta and the girls. In a battle that will culminate their lives. To discover that, there, much more hides than a small settlement. Will they be able to sacrifice what they are to become what they want?
An allegorical, comical adventure, written with the aesthetics of a road movie.
